Terminology used
The terms Gouda Watertoren Gouda, Goudse Watertoren, Watertoren and accommodation are terms used for Goudse Watertoren accommodation.
Guest
A person who has reserved at Goudse Watertoren, stays and is registered as such.
Main guest
The person who has reserved at Goudse Watertoren. The main guest must be older than 18 and is responsible for his / her fellow guests.
Administrator
The person who manages as the owner of Goudse Watertoren or on behalf of the owner of Goudse Watertoren.
Third parties
Any other legal person who is not a guest, manager or owner.
Reservation
Goudse Watertoren confirms the reservation request.
Cancellation
The revocation or cancellation of the definitive reservation within the applicable period or a no-show at the time of the reservation.
1. Goudse Watertoren
Goudse Watertoren is described in the website www.goudsewatertoren.nl, this website has been compiled with the greatest care but there may be differences between the text and/or photos presented on the website and the current situation in the accommodation at the time of the visit by the guests). No rights can be derived from such differences by guests. The minimum stay in Goudse Watertoren is one night. A different minimum stay may apply during the holiday periods and/or during the summer months.
Goudse Watertoren is accessible 24 hours a day via a personal door code.
Smoking is not permitted in the Goudse Watertoren.
Pets of guests are not allowed.
Goudse Watertoren is suitable for two people.
Goudse Watertoren is accessible from 15:00h on the day of arrival via a personal door code. The personal code expires after 13:00h on the day of departure.
Children are only allowed under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
Guests can park their car free of charge outside the canal belt and have paid parking on the street or in the Q-park garage (100 meters walking distance). Parking is at your own risk.
Guests must have a permanent place of residence or stay.
Guests must follow the instructions of the managers.
The managers can deny and/or refuse guests access to Goudse Watertoren with immediate effect in the event of a violation of the general terms and conditions and/or internal rules or in the event of improper behavior, without further notice and explanation of reasons and without reimbursement of accommodation costs.
Guests of Goudse Watertoren must adhere to the rules of procedure that are provided to them online when booking and that are also available for inspection in Goudse Watertoren.
2. Rates
The rates include gas, water, electricity, heating, plus what is in the fridge and on the pantry. The rates include VAT and tourist tax.
The rates do not include the costs of cancellation and/or travel insurance and / or other costs.
Rates from Goudse Watertoren are always without obligation and are subject to interim changes.
All statements on the website of Goudse Watertoren are deemed to have been provided in good faith and are always subject to interim adjustments. Goudse Watertoren is not bound by obvious errors on its website.
3. Reservation and Payment
Reservations can be made directly online via www.goudsewatertoren.nl and through various booking parties such as, among others, Booking.com, Airbnb.com and specialoverachten.nl. Conditions on the sites of booking parties may differ from www.goudsewatertoren.nl.
The reservation is only final after confirmation of your reservation request by Goudse Watertoren.
Via www.goudsewatertoren.nl: 1.) Check the availability for 1 or more nights. 2.) Enter your contact details and book. You will receive a confirmation e-mail. 3.) Your booking will become definitive after full payment of the booking amount within 14 days of placing the book. Bookings made within 14 days prior to arrival must be paid immediately to make the reservation final.

4. Cancellation
Up to 14 days before booking date no cancellation fees
You pay 50% of the total price if you cancel within 14 days before arrival. You will receive a refund of your prepayment within 2 working days.
If you do not show up, you pay the total price of the reservation.
5. Damage
The guest must behave properly and leave the accommodation after use as found upon arrival.
The main guest is legally responsible for the damage caused by him or his fellow guests to the accommodation or the items present therein.
A claim (damage, loss, loss and/or theft) must be reported by the guest directly to the owner or the manager. Repair and/or replacement costs must be immediately reimbursed by the guest to the owner/manager at his first request.
6. Complaints
The guest is entitled to submit his grievances to Goudse Watertoren by means of a complaint. Goudse Watertoren must always handle a complaint adequately and with due speed, so that the complaint is handled according to the standards of reasonableness and fairness
7. Force majeure
In the event of force majeure, both of a permanent and temporary nature, Goudse Watertoren is entitled to terminate the agreement in whole or in part or to suspend it temporarily without the guest being able to claim fulfillment and/or compensation. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: danger of war, war, insurrection, war, strikes, boycott, disruptions in the energy circuit, traffic or transport, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and furthermore all circumstances, exceptional weather conditions , death of one of owners or close family members, etc. under which reasonable or fair compliance with the agreement cannot be expected of Goudse Watertoren.
8. Liability
Goudse Watertoren cannot be held liable for damage suffered by the guest or third parties as a result of the stay in the accommodation; the guest indemnifies Goudse Watertoren against claims in this regard. Goudse Watertoren is not liable for disruptions in and around the accommodation such as disruptions and power failures and water supplies and technical installations, non-timely or announced construction and/or road works in the vicinity of the accommodation.
Goudse Watertoren can only be held liable for damage that is due to gross negligence or negligence.
Without prejudice to the aforementioned paragraphs two of “8. Liability ”, the liability of Goudse Watertoren, if and insofar as Goudse Watertoren is held legally liable for any reason in relation to the user agreement, is always limited to direct damage and any form of consequential damage is excluded. The liability of Goudse Watertoren is furthermore always limited to the maximum amount that the insurer of Goudse Watertoren will pay in the appropriate case.
Goudse Watertoren accepts no liability for injury to persons and / or damage, loss or theft of property of the users.

10. Final provision
Unless otherwise provided in private international law rules, only Dutch law applies to the present terms and conditions. Non-Dutch speaking guests are deemed to agree with the general terms and conditions drawn up in Dutch.
All disputes arising from the user agreement or these terms and conditions will be settled in the first instance by the competent court in the Netherlands, insofar as the rules of private international law do not provide otherwise.
None of the parties can transfer its rights and obligations to third parties unless otherwise provided in the present conditions.
If and insofar as any provision in the user agreement and the present terms and conditions appears to be invalid, the other terms and conditions will remain in force and the invalid article will be deemed to have been converted in such a way that it is brought into line with the apparent intentions of the parties.
